Crafters Cafe challenge #139 Tags

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. 
Welcome to my little bit of blogland. 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Crafters Cafe and wow have we had some gorgeous digis to work with! 
This is the last challenge of 2015 from The Crafters Cafe so a huge Happy Christmas to everyone from all of us there and we will see you in 2016!
Here is the tag that I created and I hope that you like it. 

Here's how I did it!
I took a 5" tag and covered it with paper from Papermania and inked around the edges. I then added a heart shaped doily . The topper is the super cute Christmas elves digi from Melonheadz that was colored in with Copics. To finish I added die cut snowflakes, Christmas ribbon and glitz glitter glue.

Julia Spiri #8 challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy
 Welcome to my little bit of blogland.
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Julia Spiri challenge blog 
The theme this time is Doll House and this time it is a month long challenge. 
Here is my little creation and I hope that you like it. 

Here's how I did it
I created a house shape by cutting the fold corners fro, a 5x5 card blank and created a roof by popping on some check paper from my stash. 
The door and windows are simply made by coloring white card with gold promarker and cutting out the windows. The image is the fantastic lollipop girl available in the Julia Spiri store and she is colored with copics.

Not Just Cards - December challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Have you all finished getting ready for Christmas yet ? 
Theres a brand new challenge over at Not Just Cards and we would love for you to join us.

Here is my DT make and I hope that you like it! 


Here's how I did it
6x6 card blank covered with steampunk paper from my stash and layered with brown card.  Over the top I added gold mesh then another layer of brown card followed. The topper is the fabulous Steampunk Santa image from Smeared Ink. Oh i do love the digis from them ! I colored him in with a mixture of Copics and Sakura gel pens.
I finished by adding adhesive pearls and card candi.

Crafting Musketeers - #32 Use a Sentiment

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy.

Here's how I did it
 A5 tartan card base from Docrafts , Then the feature part is Santas list decoupage built up with sticky pads. To finish I have added card candi and a Merry Christmas bow.

Paradise of Stamps - 'Snow' challenge 31

Hi everyone I hope you are all well and happy! 
Theres a new challenge over at Paradise of Stamps and we would love you to pop by and play along with us. 
Here is the card that I have created for the challenge. 

Here's how I did it!
6x6 scallop edged card blank inked with Broke China Distress ink from Tim Holtz. backing paper is snowflake from Kanban. Silver glitter card forms the base for the topper which is the absolutely gorgeous Mikey and Rory's Royal Christmas dance from the Once Upon A dream collection and is coloured with Copics. To finish I have added die cut snowflakes Happy Christmas sentimment, adhesive pearls and a triple tied navy organza bow.

The Crafters Cafe #138 Dies/ punches

Hi everyone I hope that you are ll well and happy. 
Its the Christmas countdown YAY ! I do love this time of year so I would like to share with you today a card that I have created for the new challenge over at The Crafters Cafe . The theme for this challenge is Dies/ Punches. I have used the super cute Ava and Deacon Ho Ho Ho image.
Here it is and I hope that you like it!

Here's how I did it!
5x7 card blank covered with Kanban snowflake card lightly inked around the edges. 
Silver embossed card and more snowflake card layered on base, distressed around edges with Tim Holtz distressing tool and curled t the corners. Image is the gorgeous Ava and Deacon Christmas  HO HO HO from Bugaboo coloured with Copics and to finish I have popped on some die cut snowflakes, pearls, silver bow and Happy Christmas stamped sentiment.

Julia Spiri challenge #7 Alter something

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy.
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Julia Spiri challenge blog. The theme is Alter something. 
Here is an MDF heart that I have altered ad I hope that you like it.

Recipe
5" MDF heart covered with handmade petal paper and inked around the edges.
A fancy edge die cut  serves as a base for the super cute Girl with Teddy image that I have colored with a selection of Copic Ciao pens. To finish I have added a sentiment, butterfly, mullberry  flowers and a cute ribbon bow.

FANTASTIC NEWS - BERT & GERTS 1ST DT CREATION

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. 
Welcome to my little bit of blogland. 
I am absolutely delighted to tell you all that I have been asked to join the amazing
Bert & Gerts Merchant Stores Design Team! 
To say that I am pleased is an understatement! 
The wonderful Jason Wilkes recently showcased the Ball Games range of stamps on the Hochanda craft channel ! 
Here is a Christmas card that I have created using one of the FAB stamps that was part of the bundle I have been given (YES GIVEN) to play with and create samples, I cant wait to show you more! 

Recipe
5x7 card blank
Backing paper from Papermania's Mistletoe Kisses collection lightly inked around the edges with Certainly Celery ink from Stampin Up.
Christmas trees created using the Oh Christmas Tree stamp set and paper piecing in layers. 
Sentiment is also from the stamp set and has been stamped onto the same paper that has been used on the card. 
To finish I have added self adhesive pearls and a bow created from 3mm satin ribbon.

Crafters Cafe #137 - CAS With food or drink

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. 
Welcome to my little bit of blogland. 
Its the start of a brand new challenge over at The Crafters Cafe Challenge blog and the theme is CAS with food or drink. 
We have had some amazing images to work with for this challenge and here is the card that I have created and I hope that you like it! 


Here's how I did it. 
I took a 6x6 card blank and covered it with pretty dotty paper from the Papermania essentials paperstack then added a piece with cute cupcakes on and white flecks.  
The image is BBQ Laila from Art by Miran and colored with copc ciao pens. To finish I have added wooden hearts, tiny pearls,  flowers, satin bow and a sentiment.

Julia Spiri Add a sentiment challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. 
Welcome to my little bit of blogland! 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Julia Spiri challenge blog and the theme this time is Add a Sentiment. 
As always we have had some gorgeous images to play with and I would like to share with you a card that I have created using the gorgeous Girl with Pigtails digi.


Here's how I did it
I used a 5x5 card blank covered with textured brown paper from my stash matted up with a piece of textured glittered paper. Next I coloured in the gorgeous girl with pigtails digi with a selection of Copic Ciao pens and popped her on some of the same brown paper as used previously. The sentiment is from a clear stamp that I have in my stash and I have finished with a few paper flowers, jute bow , and adhesive pearls.

The Crafters Cafe #136 Inspired by a song

Julia Spiri Use Something Old

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy! 
Welcome to my little bit of blogland! 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Julia Spiri challenge blog and as usual we the DT have been thoroughly spoilt with the images we have been given t0 work with. The theme for the challenge is Use Something Old so basicly anything that you have had in your stash for a while. Here is a card that I have created and I hope that you like it. 

Here's how I did it
I took a 6x6 card blank and covered it with blue & white gingham paper then layered it with blue and white dotty paper with a piece of grossgrain ribbon across the centre. 
The topper came next which is the gorgeous Girl with Hair wrap digi designed by Julia Spiri and coloured with a selection of copic ciao pens, I have also distressed it around the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool. To finish I have popped on some card candi, sentiment, little wooden hearts that have had glitter glue added a bow and a sentiment.

The Crafters Cafe #135 Black, Purple, Orange and or Ghosties

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland. 
Its time for a brand new challenge over at The Crafters Cafe challenge blog and the theme is Black, Purple, Orange and or Ghosties. 
Here is a card that I have created and I hope that you like it.


Here's how I did it!
I took a 6x6 card blank and covered it with orange textured card and  the gorgeous pumpkin paper from Decosse Dynamite Doodles. I have fussy cut the bats out from the bats paper again by Decosse Dynamite Doodles and have also used the paper to back the sentiment ( by myself) used glossy accents on the bats and the pumpkin that is on the sentiment.

Julia Spiri Die cuts and or punches challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland. 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Julia Spiri and the theme for the challenge is Die cuts and or punches! 
Here is a card that  have created and I hope that you like it.


Here's how I did it
I took a 6x4 pearlised card blank and punched the corners with an EK success corner punch and down one side with  a Tonic studios daisy punch. 
For the topper i have layered up 2 pieces of card that I have distressed around the edges and lightly inked. 
The image is the gorgeous sweet girl with lollipop digi image available in the store and colored with a selection of copics.
To finish I embellished with a die cut butterfly die cut swirls a bow and happy birthday sentiment.

Not Just Cards #25 October challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy! 
Welcome to my little bit of blogland. 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Not Just Cards challenge blog with some AMAZING sponsors as always. We had a fantastic response to the last challenge and would love to see what you create again this month so pop on over and join us!

Here is a card that I have created and I hope that you like it. 

Here's how I did it! 
I took a 5x7 card blank and covered it with paper from a First Edition paper pack and inked around the edges. Next I layered two smaller pieces of paper also inked aroun the edges and topped them with lace and the gorgeous Goth Prom Queen which has been colored with copics and gel pens. To finish I stamped a Happy Birthday Sentiment and smeared it and added a webbing bow.

Crafting Musketeers challenge 30 - Christmas with a Ribbon

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland! 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Crafting Musketeers challenge blog. The theme this month is  Christmas with a ribbon and us lucky ladies on the DT have had some gorgeous ribbons to use on our projects from our sponsor Crafty Ribbons. 
Here is a card that I have created and I hope that you like it. 

Here's how I did it
I took a 5x7 card blank, covered it with paper from docrafts and inked it around the edges. Next I decopaged the Away in a manger christmas topper from La Pashe .id forgotten id got a whole set of these but sooo glad I found them as they are gorgeous! 
Across the centre of the card I have popped some Merry Christmas ribbon and to finish I have embellished with card candi in the 4 corners and a bow from the same ribbon.

Crafters Cafe - # 134 - Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. 
Welcome again to my little bit of blogland! 
NO you are not imagining things im blogging twice in one day!
Today is the start of a brand new challenge over at The Crafters Cafe challenge blog. The theme is Breast Cancer awareness.

Here is a card that I have created using the Fab Queen of Hearts digi image from 
Robins Fetish and I hope that you like it! 



Here's how I did it.
So I took a 6x4 card blank and covered it with card that I inked around the edges I then layered a pale pink piece of card on that and topped it with a heart shape doily and die cut. Next I added the Fab Queen of Hearts image that has been coloured with copics and to finish I have embellished with some paper/ mulberry flowers, self adhesive gems and a pink awareness ribbon.
