A little bit of House Mouse Thinking of You

Hi everyone before i talk about todays make i just want to take a moment to thank you all for your continued support and comments on my blog , im really happy with how its going considering ive only been blogging since mid April !
so THANK YOU !!!!!
Right now down to buisness , today i have to share with you a House Mouse card ive created and i think its soooo cute but having said that it is House Mouse and they are ALL cute .

And here it is !

I wanted to keep this card fairly minimal as i think the image itself is enough and didnt want anything to be taken away from it .
Heres how i made it
I used a 5x7 pearlised card blank in pale yellow from my stash and attatched to that at an angle a piece of textured card stock from the Papermania Capsule warm sunshine collection wich i distressed around the edges using a Tonic Studios paper distresser .
I had previously cut out from an A4 sheet the elements for the House Mouse topper and decoupaged them using sticky foam pads and attatched it to the card .
To finish i added the " Thinking of You "  sentiment , a lovely green satin edged organza ribbon bow and three Card Candi in the topper corners .
I think you will be seeing more of these gorgeous little creatures as ive got the bug for them now !
Thank you Debbi Taylor for my package of goodies wich this image and more were part of !

Thanks for stopping by

My makes for LEJ Designs clean and simple challenge

Hi everyone hope that you are all well and happy , i have done very little blogging of late , life is rather hectic at the moment plus my mojo has gone on its hollibobs me thinks lol but im hoping that its on its way back again as the ideas are starting to filter through to the old grey matter again ! YAY !
Anyway here are my two makes for LEJ designs and what fun ive had with them !

Number one

Now then this stunning image is designed by the very talented Lindsay Jolly and she is called an angels touch .
I coloured her in using blush , senna and honeycombe promarkers and mounted her onto a pale blue pearlised card blank to wich i had already attatched a piece of white chiffon and a length of silvery white satin edged ribbon . I then added marabou feathers to form her wings with some gems dotted around the edge of them . i used a sentiment and a few square gems to finish !
Number two

now this little cutie is an image given to us by 1 of our sponsors QKR Stampede and i think you will agree he is rather cute , i again used a selection of promarkers to colour him , pear green , sage , black henna and tan and i mounted him onto a card blank that id inked with Tim Holtz evergreen bough distress ink , i used some actual crepe bandage for his " poorly " and finished it all by embelishing with the lovely gingham bow ( i do love gingham at the moment ) ! and as you can see ive even added my blog name to the pic , gave myself a pat on the back for that ! Huge thanks to Debbi Taylor for helping ,me with that !

I hope that you like what i have created

this is how i made it
for the base i used a plain white 14.5cm square card blank to wich a attatched using pritt stick backing paper from The Almanac Collection by Prima .

I then added a piece of chain to the top of the pocketwatch and down the card using red double sided tape and popped on a gold metalic card candi at each end .
for the little bow embelish at the top right corner i wound around my fingers some copper beading wire and metalic thread and attatched using red double sided tape .

A Little quick make

Hi everyone hope you are all well and happy ! WOW its been a while since my last blog hasn't it , Life is a little hectic right now and i have had very little time to actually sit and concentrate on crafting but im happy to say im getting back on track with it again thank goodness !
I have to share with you today a somewhat quick card i made this afternoon
And here it is !

heres how i made it

for the base i used a 6x6 card blank that looks like brown parcel paper , these are 300gsm and are really beautifull to work with , i distressed the edges a little with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Wild Honey
the image and sentiment i have used are from the Wellington range and i stamped them on using River Rock for the image and Soft Suede for the sentiment both from the Nuetrals Collection available from Stampin Up ( details available on request )
To colour the image i used a selection from my ever faithfull promarkers !
Next i punched the top right corner with a ribbon punch threaded through some dark green and beige twine and tied it and to finish i attatched a selection of cherry blossom and rose flowers from my stash in biege , pale pink and cream .
as i said earlier this was a quickie little make but i did enjoy doing it and my little fingers are itching to do more . i feel a Tina day coming on lol .
I hope that you like what i have created .
