Julia Spiri Use Something Old

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy! 
Welcome to my little bit of blogland! 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Julia Spiri challenge blog and as usual we the DT have been thoroughly spoilt with the images we have been given t0 work with. The theme for the challenge is Use Something Old so basicly anything that you have had in your stash for a while. Here is a card that I have created and I hope that you like it. 

Here's how I did it
I took a 6x6 card blank and covered it with blue & white gingham paper then layered it with blue and white dotty paper with a piece of grossgrain ribbon across the centre. 
The topper came next which is the gorgeous Girl with Hair wrap digi designed by Julia Spiri and coloured with a selection of copic ciao pens, I have also distressed it around the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool. To finish I have popped on some card candi, sentiment, little wooden hearts that have had glitter glue added a bow and a sentiment.

The Crafters Cafe #135 Black, Purple, Orange and or Ghosties

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland. 
Its time for a brand new challenge over at The Crafters Cafe challenge blog and the theme is Black, Purple, Orange and or Ghosties. 
Here is a card that I have created and I hope that you like it.


Here's how I did it!
I took a 6x6 card blank and covered it with orange textured card and  the gorgeous pumpkin paper from Decosse Dynamite Doodles. I have fussy cut the bats out from the bats paper again by Decosse Dynamite Doodles and have also used the paper to back the sentiment ( by myself) used glossy accents on the bats and the pumpkin that is on the sentiment.

Julia Spiri Die cuts and or punches challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland. 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Julia Spiri and the theme for the challenge is Die cuts and or punches! 
Here is a card that  have created and I hope that you like it.


Here's how I did it
I took a 6x4 pearlised card blank and punched the corners with an EK success corner punch and down one side with  a Tonic studios daisy punch. 
For the topper i have layered up 2 pieces of card that I have distressed around the edges and lightly inked. 
The image is the gorgeous sweet girl with lollipop digi image available in the store and colored with a selection of copics.
To finish I embellished with a die cut butterfly die cut swirls a bow and happy birthday sentiment.

Not Just Cards #25 October challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy! 
Welcome to my little bit of blogland. 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Not Just Cards challenge blog with some AMAZING sponsors as always. We had a fantastic response to the last challenge and would love to see what you create again this month so pop on over and join us!

Here is a card that I have created and I hope that you like it. 

Here's how I did it! 
I took a 5x7 card blank and covered it with paper from a First Edition paper pack and inked around the edges. Next I layered two smaller pieces of paper also inked aroun the edges and topped them with lace and the gorgeous Goth Prom Queen which has been colored with copics and gel pens. To finish I stamped a Happy Birthday Sentiment and smeared it and added a webbing bow.

Crafting Musketeers challenge 30 - Christmas with a Ribbon

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland! 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Crafting Musketeers challenge blog. The theme this month is  Christmas with a ribbon and us lucky ladies on the DT have had some gorgeous ribbons to use on our projects from our sponsor Crafty Ribbons. 
Here is a card that I have created and I hope that you like it. 

Here's how I did it
I took a 5x7 card blank, covered it with paper from docrafts and inked it around the edges. Next I decopaged the Away in a manger christmas topper from La Pashe .id forgotten id got a whole set of these but sooo glad I found them as they are gorgeous! 
Across the centre of the card I have popped some Merry Christmas ribbon and to finish I have embellished with card candi in the 4 corners and a bow from the same ribbon.

Crafters Cafe - # 134 - Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. 
Welcome again to my little bit of blogland! 
NO you are not imagining things im blogging twice in one day!
Today is the start of a brand new challenge over at The Crafters Cafe challenge blog. The theme is Breast Cancer awareness.

Here is a card that I have created using the Fab Queen of Hearts digi image from 
Robins Fetish and I hope that you like it! 



Here's how I did it.
So I took a 6x4 card blank and covered it with card that I inked around the edges I then layered a pale pink piece of card on that and topped it with a heart shape doily and die cut. Next I added the Fab Queen of Hearts image that has been coloured with copics and to finish I have embellished with some paper/ mulberry flowers, self adhesive gems and a pink awareness ribbon.

Julia Spiri October challenge - Add some bling

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy.
 Welcome to my little bit of blogland! 
Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at the Julia Spiri challenge blog and this month us lucky gals on the DT have had some awesome images to play with. 
I have created a card using the gorgeous Autumn Elf  digi and I hope that you like it!


Here's how I did it
I took a 6x6  Kraftwork cards card matt and layered it with paper from my stash, then inked and created faux stitching around the edge. 
For the topper I coloured the gorgeous Autumn Elf digi with my Copics and distressed it around the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool. 
To embellish I stamped out  the Happy Birthday Sentiment added little paper flowers a leaf and some self adhesive pearls and gems.
