Stamping with the Dragon - Flowers challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland.
It has been a while since my last post. I have at long last moved house, its been a long awaited move although it has been stressful and worst of all my craft room was packed up my desk dismantled and I almost went stir crazy with no crafting. It has now been rehomed and craft stuff unpacked ( most of it ) and after my mojo decided it was going to come back I have been crafting again.
Enough of my ramblings and down to business. Today I have to share with you a wall plaque I have created using papers and digi stamp designed by Janette Padley Owner/designer of stamping dragon designs.
Here it is and I hope you like it.

Stamping with the Dragon _ lets go green challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome once again to my little bit of blogland. Im not sure what has happened but this is the 2nd time I have done this post the first one is nowhere to be found so blogger is having a hissy fit or something I think, who knows it might come back again lol so if any of my lovely followers have already commented THANK YOU ! but now down to business. There's a brand new challenge over at Stamping with the Dragon and we the DT have been spoilt again with some gorgeous digis to work with. The theme for this challenge is Lets go green, I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone and created a rocker card. Here it is and I hope that you like it.
 

Goodies used and recipe
Base: white rocker card from Kanban that I covered with A simple man papers
Topper: I used the Luck of the Irish digi image, coloured it with a selection of promarkers and attached it to a piece of the simple man paper then added it to the card
Embellishments: Lace, ribbon and self adhesive pearls all from my stash.

Tsunami Rose - Altered heart -March

Hi everyone I hope you are all well and happy. Its that time again, time for me to create something using printables designed by our lovely Daisy Collins.
For this project we are able to create anything and use any of Daisy's printables so I decided to alter an MDF heart and heres what I did.




Goodies used and recipe
 Ok so I have used a 5" MDF heart that on one side I brushed Modge Podge and then covered it with paper from the Parisian Daydream collection. I chose the Parisian Daydream p...aper as it really is way up there on my list of printables and downloads, its just so beautiful and a real pleasure to work with. After I had added the paper I gave it a layer of Modge Podge wich has given it a subtle satiny finish and left to dry, when dry I inked around the edge with pink ink from Papermania, around a cm away from the the edge of the heart I glued some pink and white bakers twine and added some jute to the top right and bottom left of the heart. Across the centre of the heart I have added some cute sparkly 5mm pink rik rac ribbon over that I have added some lovely white lace and topped it with a sentiment from the Ephemera samplers range. To embellish I have added flowers with feathers and a hatpin at the bottom of the heart, feathers to the top left of the sentiment, a butterfly to the top right, pink gems around the edge and last but not least a 6 mm satin bow in the middle.
This heart I have created is going to play a very important role in Mothers day this year it will be beautifully displayed in its own box made from strong acetate and will be part of the arrangements that I take to my gorgeous moms resting place. So thank you Daisy for giving me such gorgeous papers to work with which in has helped me create something that my mom would love.

Stamping Dragon Designs New range launch - Home Tweet Home

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Today sees the launch of the brand new Home Tweet Home kit available over in the store. This kit is in my opinion one of the best yet there is so much there you would never be without inspiration and stuck for ideas in fact the inspiration for the kit came from our very own Marleens curtains lol . I was one of the lucky few to get the kit before its launch and I have a project or two underway that I will be sharing with you soon but for now I would like to share with you a wall hanging I have created and I hope that you like it.

Stamping with the Dragon - In the Kitchen challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland.
Its challenge time again over at Stamping with the Dragon with the theme being In the Kitchen and we the DT have had some gorgeous digis to work with. So today I would like to share with you a calendar wall hanging that I have created and I hope that you like it.
 

Goodies Used
 
Base: 5x7 piece of card that I covered with 3 pieces of the Fruitful papers
Topper: 3 print offs of the Baking 2 digi image that I coloured with a selection of promarkers
Embellishing: Straw coloured raffia formed the frames around the images and the hanger, buttons and calendar from my stash.

Stamping Dragon Designs FB group weekly inspiration

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy
Welcome to my little bit of blogland. Over in the SDD FB group the group DT have a weekly inspiration where they showcase a digi from the store. This week I chose for the DT to create with the gorgeous Quackers about you digi stamp for the team to work with and here is what I have created with the image and I hope that you like it.

Goodies Used
Base: 5x5 card blank that I covered and layered with paper and mirri card from my stash
Topper: Heart shaped doily topped with the gorgeous quackers about you image that has been coloured with Promarkers and has a little glitz glitter glue added for a touch of bling
Embellishments: Organza ribbon bow and I Love you sentiment are from my stash.
 
Lots and lots going on over in the FB group every day so pop along and join in the fun.

Stamping with the Dragon - Love is in the air challenge

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland.
Its challenge time over at Stamping with the Dragon and the theme for the challenge is Love is in the air. We the DT have had some gorgeous images and papers to work with, oh how Love those dragons! there are lots of lovely new goodies coming out at the moment so pop along to the store and have yourself a little look. I created a card for this challenge so here it is and I hope that you like it!
 


Goodies Used
 
Base: 5x7 card blank from papermania topped with paper from the Dreamy Peach kit available in the store.
Topper: I have matted and layered paper from the Dreamy Peach kit and coloured in the Valentines Dragons digi with a selection of promarkers and popped that on the card.
Embellishments: I used a tonic studios punch on some glossy patterned paper to put across the middle of the card and topped it with ribbon from my stash, I used the little flower cut outs from the centre to embellish the corners and popped a little pearl in the centre. the calla lilly, and sentiment are from my stash.
