NJC #44 Challenge ~ One for the boys

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. 

Welcome to my little bit of blogland . 

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Not Just Cards with a lovely craft candy package up for grabs for the winner. The theme for the challenge is One for the Boys ~ Anything Goes. 

I have created a card using the fab Ahoy Matey image from Karleigh Sue. 

Here is is and I hope that you like it!

Goodies Used

Base: 6x6 card blankcovered with paper from Tim Holtz Ideology with a piece of jute across the centre. 

Topper: Ahoy Matey image by Cheri Shull owner designer of Karleigh Sue  colored with Promarkers and Copics. The anchor is hand drawn and painted with leather corset Junk and Disorderly paint from Indigoblu

Sentiment: Handwritten on a piece of card that had been colored with promarker and inked around the edges 

To finish: Old penny coin, Card Candi, Liquid pearls, black webbing, grossgrain ribbon bow. Annnnd I have used the shells from pistachio nuts ! I just knew they would come in handy one day lol ! ahhh how a crafters brain works right !
