Tsunami Rose DT creation - Witches Hat Tutorial

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy.
Welcome to my little bit of blogland.
Today I would like to share with you a Witches Hat that I have created using the Fabulous Witches Brew printable kit designed by Daisy Collins owner / designer Tsunami Rose.
Here it is and I hope that you like it.
 PIC1
shows a selection of papers and elements, glue and scissors that I have used.

PIC 2
To create the pointy part of the hat cut a 10cm square and lie the square flat then take two oposite corners and roll them towards eachother. Atatch the two sides with double sided tape and then trim the excess off.

PIC 3
The pointy part of the hat after trimming the excess away

PIC 4
Next cut out a 9cm diameter circle to create the hat rim

PIC 5
Turn the circle over and draw a 5cm diameter circle in the centre then using a craft knife from the centre make cuts to the outline and fold over

PIC 6
When you have the two parts like this dab a little pva glue on the outside of each of the folded parts of the centre then put the pointy part over so the folded pars are on the inside and gently press until they are fixed.

PIC 7
Now you have your hat and can decorate and embellish as you wish. I have gently bent the pointy part of the hat to one side to create a slight angled effect.
I have used black webbing ( not sure f the exact name) Skeleton leaves, black self adhesive gems, black and orange organza ribbon, black lace, a little glitter glue and a sentiment from the kit.

 PIC 8
Showing the front of the hat.

 PIC 9
A side view of the hat. Here I have added a spell scroll which i created by rolling a piece of paper aproximately 3 cm, fixing it with a dab of pva, colored with a copic pen and wrote spells on in fineliner pen.

 PIC 10
A back view of the hat

PIC 11
Side view of the hat on this side I have added a little wand that i created by cutting a little off the end of a cocktail stick, coloring it with copcs and adding a little glitter glue.

Just Because at Teasdale Towers

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland!
Today I would like to share with you a canvas I have altered just because lol Its actually part of a trio of pics of my creations that I have submitted for a DT position so keeping my fingers crossed here at Teasdale Towers!
Here it is and I hope that you like it.

Here's how I did it!
So to start i took a 7x5 blank canvas and inked it using More Mustard, Peach Parfait ( a gift from my lovely friend Debbi Taylor) and Soft Suede inks from Stampin Up and put it to one side.
Next I cut a 6x4 piece of textured card and inked it with the Peach Parfait and a little Sahara Sands. I then went back to the canvas and using the gorgeous Grunge flourish Stamp from Visible Image I stamped randomly all over the canvas ( Ink Soft Suede) and went darker around the edges by building the colour in layers. Then it was back to the textured card where I used the Soft Suede Ink to stamp the Create With Your Soul stamp into the centre which I then added to the canvas with silicone glue.
To finish I added a dark bronze coloured self adhesive pearl to the corners of the centrepiece.
