Rhedd and Rosies challenge 8 Ribbons and Lace

Hi everyone welcome to my little bit of blogland. The wether has been glorious the last couple of days so long may it continue! how are all of you ? hope everyone is well and happy!
Its challenge time over at Rhedd and Rosies with an amazing prize up for grabs again this fortnight from our sponsor Craft Shapes Torbay.
We the DT were given some wooden shapes from our sponsor to work with and what fun we all had too! so heres what I came up with and I hope that you like it!
My Cute little wall hanging

Goodies used
Base: Wooden heart shape and wooden butterfly shape from Craft shapes Torbay wich i covered with gesso for a base. For the heart shape I used Tim Holtz distress paint in Fired Brick and for the Heart shape I used Tim Holtz distress paint in mustard seed and left them to dry, a heat gunb can be used to speed up the drying process.
To embellish: For the heart i used some lovely red lace and attatched it to the edge of the heart with red double sided tape and added a couple of red buttons and the first half of the sentiment . For the butterfly I added a lovely dark beige lace around the edge with red double sided tape and added yellow buttons and the secont half of the sentiment. To finish I threaded red gingham ribbon through the hole on the top of the heart and through the holes on the butterfly then popped a couple of red wooden beads to the ends.
We would love to see what you create for our challenges so why not pop over and enter for your chance to win the amazing prize on offer!

The fab prize that's on offer and aword about our sponsor

Craft Shapes Torbay is a husband & wife team run from workshops in the sunny seaside town of Torquay in Devon.
It was created to help Kim, who originally set up her company Dotty Heaven who makes personalised and bespoke wooden gifts. She was finding it very difficult to source the right shapes and designs for her customers - and wanted to offer something a little different to the "run of the mill" craft shapes available for purchase on the internet.
Husband, Ashley researched different methods of wood cutting and after a year of using a CNC machine they decided to invest in a Laser Cutting machine.
Craft Shapes Torbay is still in it's early stages but in it's first 6 months of business is going from strength to strength - with a portfolio of over 100 designs already. New shapes and designs are being created every day and they welcome requests on new deigns too.
