The Crafty Pad Show Some Metal challenge DT

Good morning everyone hope you are all well and happy !

Im very pleased and proud to say that this post today is my first one as the new DT member for

THE CRAFTY PAD

Very happy and excited to be part of such a talented team !

The theme for this challenge is Show Some Metal and i have to say that i have really enjoyed making this card and i hope you like it as much as i do .

And here it is !

this is how i made it

for the base i used a plain white 14.5cm square card blank to wich a attatched using pritt stick backing paper from The Almanac Collection by Prima .

I then used metalic promarkers and a gold gel pen to add some metal effect to the pocketwatch image  and glued on some 3mm gold gems around the watch face and attatched the image again with pritt stick . I then added a piece of chain to the top of the pocketwatch and down the card using red double sided tape and popped on a gold metalic card candi at each end .

for the little bow embelish at the top right corner i wound around my fingers some copper beading wire and metalic thread and attatched using red double sided tape .

to finish i added the memories sentiment wich is part of the papermania elegance collection .

A Little quick make

Hi everyone hope you are all well and happy ! WOW its been a while since my last blog hasn't it , Life is a little hectic right now and i have had very little time to actually sit and concentrate on crafting but im happy to say im getting back on track with it again thank goodness !

I have to share with you today a somewhat quick card i made this afternoon

And here it is !

heres how i made it

for the base i used a 6x6 card blank that looks like brown parcel paper , these are 300gsm and are really beautifull to work with , i distressed the edges a little with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Wild Honey

the image and sentiment i have used are from the Wellington range and i stamped them on using River Rock for the image and Soft Suede for the sentiment both from the Nuetrals Collection available from Stampin Up ( details available on request )

To colour the image i used a selection from my ever faithfull promarkers !

Next i punched the top right corner with a ribbon punch threaded through some dark green and beige twine and tied it and to finish i attatched a selection of cherry blossom and rose flowers from my stash in biege , pale pink and cream .

as i said earlier this was a quickie little make but i did enjoy doing it and my little fingers are itching to do more . i feel a Tina day coming on lol .

Bling Bling Challenge for LEJ Designs DT

Good morning everyone hope you are enjoying the gorgeous weather we are having im love love loving it !

Today i have to share with you the card ive created for LEJ Designs

and here it is !

Introducing Mr She !

To make this card used a circle cut card blank from Kanban and instead of using it as a stand up card i turned it into an easel card as you can see . I coloured Mr She in with a Blush promarker for his skin and glitter / gelly roll pens although it is difficult to see the glittery " Bling " effect it works really well for his clothes , his suzzies and stockings are also in glitter .

i covered the card in two different papers from my stash and the just for you sentiment is from a papermania set , to finish i attatched some gems around the top part of the card a gem star onto the base and dotted a few star sequins also .

I hope that you like what i have created and have as always enjoyed doing this like i do the other fab images designed by our very own Lyndsay !

Challenge 12 Anything goes LEJ DT

Hi everyone , i hope that you are all well and happy !

im a happy happy bunny today as its my birthday and my gorgeous hubby let me choose some goodies out of the stampin up catalogue as my pressie so i cant wait to be having a play with them .

Ive also had some truly gorgeous cards from my crafty friends , thank you all so much !

anyway down to buisness , here is my make for challenge 12 LEJ Designs DT .

for this i used a white tag and covered it in backing paper from my stash . i then cut out a shape of a high backed chair and attatched it to the tag with prit stick . i then coloured in the fair maiden image using a selection of promarkers and a purple metalic gel pen for her sash and headband and attatched it to the tag again with prit stick , next i attatched round the edge some flower lace from my stash and added some roses to the bottom left and top right corner and printed the happy birthday sentiment onto white velum .

Vintage Artisans DT challenge 2 Steampunk

Hi there everyone i hope that you are all well and happy , ive not blogged or crafted for a few days until yesterday as i had a short break away but unfortunately was a little unwell just my luck lol but i am feeling much better now !

I have to share with you today my card ive made for the Vintage Artisans DT challenge 3 Steampunk

and here it is

I used an 8x8 card blank as a base and covered it with paper i printed off from a cd rom

i then added a mixture of toppers and flowers from the same cd rom but i printed them onto white velum i also added a frame and a key i had die cut and coloured with gold metalic promarker i also stamped here and there some wings from a stamp set ( difficult to see in the pic ) i added a wooden cog and clock and gold card candi to embelish .

paper and embelishments have been taken from Debbi Moores Shabby Chic cd rom

stamped images are from a set by inkadinkadoo

Die cuts are from Antique frame and accents by spellbinders

wooden clock and cog are from Craft Embelies

and all the other bits and bobs from my own stash !
