My Daughters Birthday card

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy.
Welcome to my little bit of blogland.
Today's post is just a quickie, Its the birthday card that I created for my youngest daughter. I thought that I had already blogged this make but alas I can not see it anywhere or perhaps it is just my age lol.
Anyway here it is and I hope you like it!

Here's how i did it!
I took a 6x6 pearlised card blank and inked it around the edges then layered it with some distressed paper , jute and ribbon.
The topper has been created by colouring the stunning Spirals digi Image designed by Jeremiah Ketner. (SEE LINKS BELOW).
I coloured her in using a selection of my Copic Ciao pens and added a little white Sakura Gelly roll pen on the doves and hair but its a little difficult to see on the pic. I have also distressed the edges of the layers with my Tim Holtz distress tool. To finish I embellished with paper roses, a hatpin, ribbon bow, key and sentiment.

Tsunami Rose May DT creations

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland.
Today I would like to share with you my 2nd Tsunami Rose DT project for May, Once again I have used the ultra stunning NEW BEGININGS printable journal kit. I absolutely love this kit and urge all crafters out there to go along to the store and get it! (SEE LINKS BELOW).
So without further ado here is the chest and I hope that you like it.

Here's how I did it!ft
I took a chest shaped Mache box and covered it with two different pages from the New Beginnings Printable Journal kit and left it to dry. When it was dry I inked it here and there with Peony Ink from Colourbox. Around the bottom part of the box and also the lid  I have popped on 2 slightly different creamy coloured pieces of lace. I simply added die cut butterflies, self adhesive pearls, Satin Edged organza ribbon, Mullberry Roses and pearl hearts to embellish. As a little extra I have created a large Tag/bookmark from what i believe to be balsa wood by inking the edges and using more of the paper from the New Beginnings Kit.

Tsunami Rose DT New Beginings

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome to my little bit of blogland.
Today I would like to share with you an Easel card that I have created using the stunning New Beginings Printable Journal Kit designed by Daisy Collins Owner / designer of Tsunami Rose Designs.
Here it is and I hope that you like it.

Here's how I did it.
I took an easel card blank from Kanban and covered parts of it with paper from the stunning New Beginings Printable Journal kit and left it to dry, around the edges i have added a little glitz glitter glue for a little bit of bling.
Using some more of the paper from this stunning kit I punched out some flower shapes and just simply shaped them to a 3d effect and added a button in the centre of them. I have also cut out and created a little tag envelope and added it to the card along with the " Fly Above" sentiment.  To finish off I have embelished with a double tied pink organza ribbon bow with a butterfly added to the centre of it. some pretty creamy white lace  a few skeleton leaves behind the flowers and a cute angelic hatpin.
