Todays make x

Hi everyone hope that you are all well , happy & enjoying the gorgeous weather we are having .
Here is a quick card i made ( not the best pics ) and i hope you like it .

Heres how i made it .
I used an 8x8 scalloped card from Kanban threaded twine around the edges and attatched to that a piece of 6x6 paper in brown tones from my stash and another on top of that set at an angle in cream tones .
I then attatched the teddy topper, there is print detail on it but it is difficult to see on the pic  and the sentiment at the base of the topper . Next i cut out the leaf detailing from a piece of backing paper attatching it to the card with prit stick .To finish i made a bow from the same twine and attatched it to the top left corner using red tape and popped a bronze coloured card candi in each of the remaining corners .
The topper and sentiment are from the Shabby Chic compendium collection from Debbi Moore.

I enjoyed making this card as i love anything teddy related and look NO gems / glitter ! lol

Shabby Chic !

Hi everyone i hope you are all well , the weather here is gorgeous right now and once again whilst hubby has been working hard in the garden ive been crafting oh and just a little housework too !
So here is my first post today a Shabby Chic card and i hope that you like it .

The card

Lace detail

The sentiment and flower

Heres how i made it !

I used an 8x8 card blank and covered it in a piece of backing paper . Next i tied around the card to the left side a piece of lace and added a flower with a brad in the centre to the middle of the bow .
I then added the sewing machine topper that i made up with 5 layers fixed together with silicone glue and to the top left corner of that i added a button with frayed string ( simple yet effective i think ) and a tassle to the top right corner of the topper .
I then added the especially for you sentiment with a little lace and a brad and to finish i made a flower with a brad in the centre .
Everything on this card apart from the lace , brads and tassle was taken from
Shabby Chic Compendium Collection
by Debbi Moore Designs
to make the flowers i printed onto white vellum flowers from the rom and put the layers together using a brad in the middle , the sentiment was also printed onto vellum with a little scrap of lace and a brad .

I used a card blank shaped at one side and stamped the Wellington image onto it using black archival ink pad , i then inked around the image with Tom Holtz distress inks in wild honey and tea dye .
Next i coloured in Wellington in his armchair using a selection of promarkers and used Staedler fineliner pens to add a little finer detail .
I then tied a piece of creamy coloured lace around the card and added the flowers wich i put together with a brad in the middle of each ( all from Papermania ) and attatched them to the the lace using red double sided tape .

Birthday Card order

Hi everyone thank you all once agin for all the wanderful comments left on my posts it is very much apreciated and giving me alot of confidence in what i do so a massive thank you !!!
I would like to share this card i made a couple of days ago for an order  by a friend

                                                               heres how i made it
I used an 8x8 card blank and covered it in gorgeous textured blue card from the core-dinations so mod collection , i then cut out the batman and joker image that i found by doing a search for a free Batman downloads and attatched it to the card base using my everfaithful tape pen , i then cut out the inage of the joker and atatched it using 3d foam pads to give the card a bit of oomph , after all batman has just clobbered the joker right lol , for the number and name i cut out a  blank card template of a playing card and coloured it in with a yellow le plume marvy pen and drew in the name and number in black marvy ( there i deliberately tried to make it look handwritten and not pefect as i wanted it to appear as though batman himself had done it ) the sentiment however is something ive not actually done before this way . i cut out the letters from an actual copy of the Los Angeles Times that was used as packaging in a parcel that hubby recieved recently and coloured them using the same yellow le plume marvy pen , i think that it works quite well but would like your feedback on that one lol and last but by no means least i had to add a few card candi for that little bit of bling that we all love !
                                                          Thanks for stopping by .

todays make

Here is a quick and simple card i made today
This is how i made it .
Some of you may recognise this little cutie she is from the Messy Rabbit collection and i adore the range of images , papers ect .
so i used a card blank from Kanban that i have in my stash and attatched a backing paper using double sided tape , added to that a piece of gorgeous blue gingham ribbon that i tied into a bow and around the edge of the card i used some fibres from basic grey and a few dark pink card candi . i then took the image id printed out onto A4 super smooth paper and cut out all the elements , i used silicone gel to decoupage the image together and put a little fine crystal glitter from MCS onto the image for a little sparkle ( not visible in pic ) and edged the image in the same fibres that i used around the edge of the card to form a topper and attatched it to the card using double sided tape . finaly i finished by popping on the happy birthday sentiment with small foam pads .

The image , backing paper and sentiment all came from the very cute and adorable Messy Rabbit  CD-Rom from Joanna Sheen .
I love this image in particular as she is at her pc and desk crafting , making a card herself !
I hope that you like the card ( the picture does not do it justice )
Thank you for stopping by and taking time to look .
