My first (public) scrap page !

 

Hi everyone hope you are all well and happy !

I have to share with you a first for me , my first ( public ) scrap page , ive been tinkering about with one that isnt quite completed yet but it would help if i didnt keep altering things lol, as some of you know im not the most confident crafter out there but im really enjoying trying out new things and having loads of fun just playing and experimenting to get different effects !

Anyway here it is and i hope you like it

 

 

The photograph i have used is of the first band my hubby was in ! and im dedicating the page to him as it is our wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks .

12x12 textured cardstock from my stash

12x12 black mulberry paper

glitter paper from Papermania

Die cuts from black 200gsm card

Tag from my stash

and wooden embelishments coloured with promarkers

silver card candi in the corners

metalic thread from Kanban .

LOTV Birthday Card

 

Hi everyone hope you are all well and happy and enjoying our lovely weather !

I have to share with you today a card i made earlier using a free digi image from a set that came free with a craft magazine last year , i liked the set of freebies so much i actually bought two mags lol !

Here it is and i hope you like it !

I really enjoyed making this card , id actually forgotten id got the images and found them whilst reorganising my craft stuff ,but im so so happy that i have found them so expect to see more LOTV from me soon .

My latest Makes

Hi everyone hope you are all well and happy !

Id just like to say a huge thank you to you all for the support and encouragement that you have given me , my confidence is coming back and i am enjoying crafting again . so a huge thank you !!

Ive got one or two projects on the go right now and will be posting them on completion , including a very special gift for a dear friend .

I have to share with you a couple of things ive made this last week so here they are and i hope you like them .

 

Valentine Card

 

 For this little cutie i used a 5x7 white card blank from papermania

some fuchia pink textured card that i distressed the edges on

pink polka dot self adhesive ribbon to the left hand side

10mm baby pink organza ribbon imade the bow with

Card candi in the corners

lettering is from the me to you range i coloured in it looks white on the pic but is actually pale pink

and the image i stamped onto white card its the penny black Hedgehog Kisses .

 

A little bit of Steampunk

 

 

I used an 8x8 white card blank

Backing is a combination of two of the free steampunk papers that are available for the Docrafts Creativity Club members , i cut the papers into three and patched them onto the card with pritt glue and used the papers to section the backing .the hand is also cut from backing paper .

The topper and top corner detailing is from the Tinkering with steampunk cd rom

The sentiment is from the steampunk range by Creative expressions

and i finished with a 4 card candi in the corners and a bright yellow organza bow .

First blog of 2013

Hi everyone a little late but HAPPY NEW YEAR !

I hope that you are all well and happy and have been happily crafting away .

Well this is my first blog of 2013 ive been playing with gesso and prepping some boxes and canvas's ready to decorate wich i will blog about when they are completed , but until then ive got two cards to share with you that ive made .

 

Here they are and i hope you like them .

The gorgeous stamp ive used for this card is designed by the very talented Chrissie Taft
The card is a 6x6 from my stash that ive scored and folded corner to corner on the front , covered in papers from my stash , flowers sentiments and a flowery button .

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

This card is made from using a plain 8x8 card blank and free papers and stamps by Woodware that came with the papercraft essentials that arrived this morning and they are gorgeous , spotty satin ribbon , flowers and card candi .

I used a heart die and labels die that i coloured in with aspectrum noir pen , stamped the owl image onto the same papers that i used for the base , cut them out and pieced them together .

 

I hope that you like what i have created here they were both quick makes when i had the urge to craft , all good though as it means that my mojo is now back off its hollibobs !

Hubby's Birthday card

Hi everyone i hope you are all well and happy , things are finally settling down for me now and it apears as though my crafting mojo is finaly finished on its hollibobs and is starting to join me again !

Today i have to share with you the card ive made for my hubby's birthday im glad to say he loved it and i hope you will too .

 

And here it is

 

 

Hes a huge fan of the Beatles so i used an old single from 1967 ( it was scratched and unplayable lol ) me being me doesnt throw anything away and thought one day i will find a use for it and i have !

I covered an 8x8 card blank in card from my stash with pianos on ( i think its Kanban ) and stuck it to to the card blank with Pritt Stick and atatched the record with double sided tape

I then layered up the Juke box although its hard to see on the pic . Made the rosette from paper that had music on it and cut a circle out of black card and atatched ribbons

to finish i coloured in a couple of guitars and stuck them on with doublke sided tape and the same with the musical notes .

 

He was so pleased with it bless him !

getting ready for christmas , mini christmas tree !

I have to share with you a miniture Christmas Tree that i have made using material , a little pva glue a polystyrene cone , some christmas red stickles and gold edged ribbon .
