Stamping Dragon Yoo Hoo at Christmas

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well and happy. Welcome once again to my little bit of blogland . I have to share with you today a Christmas card that I have created using the Yoo Hoo Christmas card Kit designed by Janette Padley owner /designer of Dragons Lair designs .
Here is and I hope you like it! ( PS Hes an Owl )

Goodies Used
Base: 8x6 scallop edged card blank by Kanban edged with metallic guilding wax in deep red from Creative Expressions. Next I layered a piece of gold shimmer card from my stash onto the card blank.
Topper: The base part of the Yoo Hoo Christmas card kit from Dragons Lair designs. I added Glitz sparkles in gold, red and iridescent to give it some bling.
Embelishments: The flowers are part of the scrummy kit , I covered them in glossy accents and gently curved then into the shape, the same with the holly. Bows made from burgundy organza ribbon and card candi to the centre of the flowers and the edge of the topper.

This Kit really is gorgeous, a real pleasure to create this card!
We also have a few days left on the current challenge over at Stamping with the Dragon and have a £5 voucher on offer for the lucky winner to spend in the store (see links below)

Stamping With The Dragon "One for Dad Challenge

Hi Everyone welcome once again to my little bit of blogland! I hope that you are all well and happy and enjoying the long awaited glorious summer weather we are having!
Its challenge time over at Stamping With The Dragon with the theme "One for Dad". We had some fab images and papers to work with designed by the lovely Janette Padley owner/designer of  Stamping With The Dragon. So without further ado I have to share with you today a canvas board I have altered for the challenge and I hope you like it!
My Altered canvas wall hanging.

Goodies Used:

Base: 5x7 canvas board
Image: Tractor in yard paper from the Stamping With The Dragon shop. I printed off 2
5x7 papers cut around the tractor image of one and covered it in glossy accents and left to dry, then dipped the edges of the other one in water and when they were wet I gently pulled bits of the edge all the way around to give a distressed look. When id attached it to the board I applied guilding wax by Creative expressions in pearl moon to the edges ( difficult to see in the pic) and added the glossy tractor as a topper.
Embellishments: For the straw I used raffia from my stash. For the hanger I cut 2 inch wide cream jute into 3 strips, plaited it and added two clear beige buttons to the ends.

Its challenge time over at Rhedd and Rosies with an amazing prize up for grabs again this fortnight from our sponsor Craft Shapes Torbay.
We the DT were given some wooden shapes from our sponsor to work with and what fun we all had too! so heres what I came up with and I hope that you like it!
My Cute little wall hanging

Goodies used
Base: Wooden heart shape and wooden butterfly shape from Craft shapes Torbay wich i covered with gesso for a base. For the heart shape I used Tim Holtz distress paint in Fired Brick and for the Heart shape I used Tim Holtz distress paint in mustard seed and left them to dry, a heat gunb can be used to speed up the drying process.
To embellish: For the heart i used some lovely red lace and attatched it to the edge of the heart with red double sided tape and added a couple of red buttons and the first half of the sentiment . For the butterfly I added a lovely dark beige lace around the edge with red double sided tape and added yellow buttons and the secont half of the sentiment. To finish I threaded red gingham ribbon through the hole on the top of the heart and through the holes on the butterfly then popped a couple of red wooden beads to the ends.

The fab prize that's on offer and aword about our sponsor

Craft Shapes Torbay is a husband & wife team run from workshops in the sunny seaside town of Torquay in Devon.
It was created to help Kim, who originally set up her company Dotty Heaven who makes personalised and bespoke wooden gifts. She was finding it very difficult to source the right shapes and designs for her customers - and wanted to offer something a little different to the "run of the mill" craft shapes available for purchase on the internet.
Husband, Ashley researched different methods of wood cutting and after a year of using a CNC machine they decided to invest in a Laser Cutting machine.
Craft Shapes Torbay is still in it's early stages but in it's first 6 months of business is going from strength to strength - with a portfolio of over 100 designs already. New shapes and designs are being created every day and they welcome requests on new deigns too.
